Rimadyl (pronounced "Rim-a-dill") is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides safe and effective relief of pain and inflammation due to canine arthritis. Rimadyl is available only by prescription. Given orally, Rimadyl is the only arthritis pain medication available in chewable tablets as well as regular caplets. The chewable, liver-flavored tablets make it easy for owners to provide arthritis pain relief for their dogs. In fact, studies show that dog owners prefer administering chewable medications over conventional pills.

Rimadyl (carprofen) Is Used To Treat Pain And Inflammation From Conditions Such As Arthritis And Other Joint Diseases Including Hip Dysplasia. It Is Also Used To Reduce Fever. It Is Available As 25mg, 75mg And 100mg Scored Caplets As Well As 25mg, 75mg And 100mg Scored Chewable Tablets. The Usual Dose Is 1mg/pound By Mouth Every 12 Hours. Do Not Use In Cats.
