Revolution pet medication is the newest product that provides complete parasite protection. Revolution is a topical liquid medication which is used for flea control and prevention, heartworm prevention, and prevention and control of ear mites, sarcoptic mange, and American dog ticks. It is used once a month and is applied conveniently at one spot on the skin.

How It Works:
Revolution enters the bloodstream through the skin. Concentrations of Revolution in the blood and tissues prevent heartworm disease. Revolution selectively redistributes from the blood to the skin, where it provides protection against fleas, flea eggs, American dog tick, and mites.

Revolution ® (selamectin) is generally well-tolerated. In studies, less than 1% of dogs experienced digestive upset. Do not use in sick, weak or underweight animals.

Revolution is the first-ever FDA approved, topically-applied medication for both dogs and cats that:

• Prevents heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) disease
• Kills adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and prevents their eggs from hatching
• Treats and controls ear mites (Otodectes cynotis)
• Treats and controls sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei) in dogs
• Treats hookworm (Ancylostoma tubaeforme)
