 Ketochlor Shampoo with Spherulites is an antifungal, antibacterial shampoo to be used in the management of fungal skin conditions and bacterial dermatitis (pyoderma) responsive to ketoconazole and chlorhexidine.
Spherulites: an exclusive and patented encapsulation system developed by Virbac; provides slow release of ingredients long after product application.
Chitosanide: a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and hair. This reinforces the hydrating and restoring effects of the formulation, helping to protect the skin against damage from the environment.
Contains:
Chlorhexidine gluconate 2.3% (2% in free form; 0.3% encapsulated in Spherulites). Ketoconazole 1%.
Directions:
Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich later. Massage Ketochlor Shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on hair for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Frequency of use: Initially 2 to 3 times a week for four weeks, then reducing to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.
